Draft Of Poster

This is a first draft I did, this photo shows the basic layout of our poster. I centred the film name in big text at the top to make sure it is the most noticeable part. then i put the cast names at the bottom as i have seen many film posters do this. A slogan may be included and put above the cast along with the main photo in the next draft.

Magazine Cover

This is a copy of our magazine cover. It is a cover of SFX magazine with our film as the main article. There is a constant theme used throughout of Red and Black for a very gothic horror effect. This was desgined and created by Jack.

Evidence Photos

Magazine Front Cover Photo Shoot

For this photo shoot I used the online program called "photobucket" to show my evidence.

Ancillary For Poster

These are two posters from the film "The Strangers" as part of one of my 3 RMA's for my coursework. This will become part of the package with our magazine front cover as well that Jack will be constructing for us. These 2 posters are just some examples that we would like ours to be similar or at least take ideas from to help represent the final poster that we end up with. They both display the "killers" with their respective masks on show and instantly we will know that they (if the film has not been watched) are the killer or they are the "evil" character associated with the film. The second poster displayed below, shows right in the background the masked killer in a dark and shadowy hallway directly behind the female and this allready gives the poster an edge in that it comes across as a very "sinister and creepy" style of horror film as shes being watched. The text in each of the posters are the same, the light bleeds off each letter of the words and this conntates the fact that its not human and that its out of this world, which relates back to the film with the masked killers as they show no emotion and no remorse throughout the film as they terrosise the young couple.

Harry - where is your evidence of doing any work for the last few weeks?

Well done Harry. You have some good shots at the start and I really like the ending. You need to consider the middle part and how successful this is in terms of the criteria – camera etc. Is it horror? Do you have enough content as the middle has lots of repetition?

First Draft Of Trailer

Update

Me and Jack are hoping that by the end of this week we should have a rough copy of the trailer (so around 80% or more) completed and hopefully edited. If we can stick to this target then we will keep up to date and stick on time for our deadlines.

Skills Development

This is what i created by using the software on wordle.com. I have included key words that i have developed when planning our A2 coursework (film trailer), compared to my AS coursework. I intend to use these developed skills to create our A2 horror trailer project over the time of the course.
